Celebrities in dVb: Selita Ebanks in Victoria Beckham Spring 2010

Victoria's Secret model Selita Ebanks was one of the attendees at the 2010 Cosmetic Executive Women Beauty Awards at The Waldorf Astoria on May 21st in NYC. To the event, she wore a lovely Victoria Beckham spring 2010 creation with a fabulous pair of glittery Louboutins.

I completely adore this look! I love how the dress fits her like a glove and how the hint of sparkle at her feet keeps "basic" pumps from being boring. Her hair is slicked away from her face, letting the structured top of the dress take center stage, and her eye makeup is gorgeous! The only thing I dislike is the clutch bag.

Celebrities in dVb: Jessica Simpson in Victoria Beckham Spring 2010 - Dress #35

Also at the LG Fashion Event last night, arriving with a member of her family, and wearing Victoria Beckham was Jessica Simpson. Now, whereas Victoria (obviously) rocks the hell outta her own designs, Jessica... not so much.

This pains me to say this, as Jessica was once one of my favorite people, but this look completely lets her down! The dress doesn't suit her at all. As I look at the photos of her, my eyes are immediately drawn to her breasts because the dress looks like it hasn't been fitted properly at her bust at all. Then to top it off, the gray and black combo washes her complexion out a bit and her roots look as if they are about four inches long. What happened to America's sweetheart- remember when she was 1/2 of the hysterical MTV reality couple and was popping up everywhere and looking amazing? I miss that Jess so much!

I think one of these dresses would've suited Jess's body type much, much better!

Celebrities in dVb: Taraji P. Henson in Victoria Beckham Spring 2010

Now here is a look that could've been amazing. Taraji P. Henson wore the cut out fitted dress, or #41, from Victoria's spring 2010 line to the premiere of "Date Night" at Ziegfeld Theatre on April 6th in New York City. The color is lovely against her skin but I would've been so grateful if she had worn the electric blue runway version instead. I think that slight pop of metallic sheen would've done this look a world of good.

Celebrities in dVb: Sylvie van der Vaart in Victoria Beckham Spring 2010

The very lovely Sylvie van der Vaart, who is an actress, model and TV personality who is married to footballer Raphael Van Der Vaart for those who haven't heard of her, attended the OK! magazine style awards at the British embassy on May 6th in Berlin wearing a lovely LBD from Victoria's spring 2010 line. She looked amazing and I love how she paired the studded Brian Atwoods (most famously known from Sex and the City 2 when SJP wore them in purple) with a gold clutch. Great look if you ask me!

The Most Worn Dress of the Spring 2010 Collection

Dress #36 - The peplum 3/4 sleeve banded mini dress...

Out of each collection, there seems to be a favored piece that is worn more often than the rest and in the case of the spring 2010 line, it is definitely the peplum mini.

Victoria's classic and structured design has been seen on not only the designer herself, but Gossip Girl star Blake Lively, Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson, WAG Yvonne Connolly, Danielle Bux, and Ugly Betty star America Ferrera.

Danielle Bux wore the extremely popular peplum mini from Victoria's spring 2010 collection to the TRIC Awards at The Grosvenor House Hotel on March 9, 2010 in London. I think she looked adorable but I wish she wore a different shoe - something strappy and fun instead of basic pumps.

Celebrites in dVb: Ugly Betty's America Ferrera in Victoria Beckham Spring 2010

In episode 17 of the concluding season of Ugly Betty, America Ferrera wears the stunning black peplum mini dress from the spring 2010 line. The stylist on the show added a bit of pizazz to the basic black look with a sparkling silver belt.

I really adore the way America looked. What I loved most was the feminine silhouette of the dress and her free flowing curls. Lovely!
