Déjà Vu x 2

A lot of you sent me emails regarding Victoria's past two looks (shopping & the LG event) and you said that you weren't thrilled with either one because it feels as if she's been there and done that. In a way, I agree, but I also feel that she had a new and interesting approach for each "repeat".

For example, we saw her shopping in an Isabel Marant spring 2010 dress in London. Here she was elegant and chic dressed in all black with the exception of her Birkin and Atwood shoes. She shopped at Barney's in a top exactly like the dress but she was a bit more playful this time with the frilly and patterned skirt.

The repeat between the LG event and the Oscar viewing party was the pattern shared by the two dresses. For the LG event she went fun and flirty in a cloud mini from her fall line. I really love the hair style and feel that the entire ensemble was event appropriate. For the Oscar party, she glammed up in a full length version of the dress and a messy bun hairstyle - again, I think that this was event appropriate.

So, I completely understand how you all feel, and I agree, but those were a few comments about why I liked all four of the fabulous looks :)

VB's Faves: Simple Black Dress

Victoria Beckham loves her LBDs - this we all know.

Case in point, she wore this flimsy mini dress while out at a vintage shop a few weeks ago paired with a bubbly blazer, her Himalayan Birkin, and Brian Atwood pumps. She wore the same dress not too long after that while grocery shopping with her hubby and sons. This time she wore her go-to Alaia cardigan and Lanvin flats.

Either way, I really don't like this particular dress at all. I think it's extremely ill fitting and makes her look even thinner than she already is. But if I had to choose, I would go with the grocery store look because it's a bit more casual and relaxed, just like the dress itself.

VB's Faves: Brian Atwood 'Zenith' Pumps

Victoria Beckham has certainly developed a strong love for Brian Atwood shoes over the recent months. The fashionista has several pairs in a varitey of designs, colors, and material finishes. The nude Zenith patent pumps with ankle straps are her newest BA purchase.

She wore them three different days over a week and a half time span recently.

VB's Faves: Gray Zipped Skinny Jeans and Louboutins

Over the past two months I've noticed that Victoria Beckham has seemed to favor her new gray skinny jeans with zipper details worn with her Louboutin boots. She first wore the combo to the Fashion For Relief Haiti show in February and has been spotted three times since then - one was just last week.

VB's Faves: Victoria Beckham Fall 2010 - Dress #65

Victoria Beckham wore dress #65, the twist drape corset dress, to her presentation at luxury department store TSUM in Moscow last week paired with Brian Atwood Maniac pumps. She also wore her signature Alaia cardigan with it as well.

We have already seen Victoria in this dress when she went to a pre-Oscars party, so I am very surprised that she wore it again already. Yes I know it was in Moscow, but there are so many fabulous pieces in this new collection that I'm sure she could've choosen one that would be new to us all - I can't wait to see her in a teal/blue piece!
