Just A Start..

So I listened to everyone's advice from my last post - And decided to get a very subtle version of the golden highlights.. It didn't quite turn out how i wanted, but Its growing on me.. I think because my hair is so naturally black it refused to budge colour to much, so the result is not as dramatic as in the inspiration photos. With a bit of surfing and sunshine i'm hoping the dyed areas will lighten a little more.
For all of those who said I shouldn't change my dark hair I do appreciate your comments, I just fancied a change!! It wont be a permanent change though as in the winter I will certainly revert back to my natural black...
Its quite hard to even see what is going on in this photos from my laptop camera - Will show it off better in an outfit post tomorrow!

But Still, I am In Love With This Lie

Yay, new stuff! Well... newish stuff.. I got a few parcels in the post today of things I have been buying on ebay. I got these Topshop Unique jeans which are a little hard to get over my hips but once there they fit beautifully! Also got this jacket (another topshop item). Then later in the day I went to look in the charity shops down the road and found this checked shirt from 'Kimichi & Blue' which is a brand sold at urban outftters. So all in all a good day for bargains.


I wanted to get everyone's advice on an idea I have been toying with regarding my hair.. I saw these pictures on 'studded hearts' and am tempted to go for this ombre gold highlighted look with my hair. I used to dye or cut my hair all the time but recently Ive left it all natural and its become a little boring. Not sure whether I could pull this look off? My roots will certainly be dark enough to give a good contrast! Let me know what you think...

I've been out of energy, and it's been harder then I thought to recuperate.

When I first was asked to try this invisible shampoo, i immediately answered yes.

why you'll ask me?

Mainly because I'm a person that doesn't wash her hair often because I believe in saving my hair,s 

natural oil the longest, and the more you wash your hair the dryer it gets, and the your scalp get dryer and dryer.  I use to be that way until one day I got fed up of dry hair and dried scalp.

So I quit shampooing 3-4 times a week, and started only to shampoo twice a week.

I will admit, it took some time to adjust to this new kind of hair treatment.  My hair look greasy at first but after it got used to it, it looked great. So now I only wash my hair once a week.

But it can sometimes use a little help, like on those hot and humid days.

So when  I was offered the chance to try this invisible shampoo, I jumped at it.

So the day it finally arrived at the house, I was really happy. But had to wait 3 days to use, cause my hair didn't really need it right then.  So after 3 days, I checked to see if my hair really needed it, and yes sir, it did need it.

After reading the directions, I shake the bottle very well.

From 6-8 inches away I spray in quick, short bursts to roots or layers.

Wait one minute to dry and then brush hair thoroughly.

There is no powder on your shoulder like the other kinds of invisible shampoos.

So you are ready to go to work, shopping, volunteer work, or wherever you want to go.

I was quite impress, I just brushed my hair the usual way, it left a pretty scent,

and nobody noticed anything.
