Jennifer Lopez signing w/ Island Def Jam

Jennifer Lopez confirmed to Hitfix that she is signing with L.A. Reid's Island Def Jam label. Rumors had been swirling since her split with Sony's Epic Records that she and Reid would team up, but no official word from either party had been issued.

Hitfix's Greg Ellwood asked Lopez point blank "Are you signing with Def Jam" on Monday during an interview for "The Back-Up Plan" and she said yes, not once, but twice, smiling about the prospect. Word on the street is that Reid will not only sign Lopez, but will produce the actress/singer's new album.

Last month, Lopez and Epic split up before the release of her seventh studio album "Love" following the disappointing reaction to such singles as "Louboutins." Her manager, Benny Medina, confirmed the split to Deadline Hollywood Daily, which broke the news.

Diddy's Sweet 16 Surprise for Justin!

Diddy Buys Son $360,000 Maybach for 16th Birthday

For his 16th birthday, Diddy gave his son Justin Dior Combs a brand-new silver Maybach (price tag: $360,000).

The teen received the wheels at a lavish bash Saturday night at M2 Ultralounge club in NYC. (Among the guests: Jersey Shore stars Paul "Pauly D" Delvecchio, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and rapper Lil' Kim.)

Diddy, 40, also gave his son a $10,000 check to open a bank account. (For the record, Justin is donating it all to Haiti relief.)

"I'm just ecstatic right now," Justin told UsMagazine.com at his party, which will be featured on an upcoming episode of MTV's My Super Sweet 16. "Words can't even describe how I feel. I'm so blessed and thankful for all of this."

Jersey Shore: MTV threat!

MTV Tells Jersey Shore Cast: Take Our New Money Offer Today Or You’re Out!

If the cast of The Hills on MTV can pull up to $75,000 per episode, why would the much more lovable characters of Jersey Shore settle for a measly $5,000 per show? As it turns out … they won’t!

TMZ reports that MTV offered Snooki, J-Woww, Pauly D, and Mike “The Situation” a measly “$10,000 signing bonus and $5,000 per episode” to come back for a second season … which they rejected! TMZ says “the cast made it clear they would all stand together and hold out for their price, though they didn’t say what it was.” The celeb news site also reports that MTV is playing hardball, and that if they don’t accept the network’s offer by the end of the day today, they can take their Coppertone and GTL and go back to Seaside Heights.

Jersey Shore has reached up to 4.9 million viewers in the first season, so MTV doubled the offer to $10,000 an episode — but there’s no word yet on the cast’s response to the offer.

Tiger Woods: Revealed!

What Really Happened The Night Of Tiger Woods’ Crash! Elin Nordegren’s Tricks & Rage Revealed!

It finally come to light what REALLY happened the night Tiger Woods crashed his Escalade into a fire hydrant in Windermere, Florida. According to inside sources, Tiger’s wife Elin Nordegren posed as her husband, sending text messages to his mistress Rachel Uchitel, and even calling her, in the days surrounding the National Enquirer report that she and Tiger were having an affair!

Nov. 25 Tiger even put Elin on the phone with Rachel himself! Before Thanksgiving, according to the site, “sources say that Tiger gave Elin advance warning that the National Enquirer was about to run a story claiming that he had an affair with Rachel Uchitel. Woods swore to Elin that the Enquirer story was false and that he had only met Uchitel once or twice at social outings.”

But Elin still had doubts, so Tiger convinced Rachel and Elin to talk! “The two women spoke by phone for about half an hour, and after the conversation, according to this source, she was satisfied that the relationship was platonic.”

Nov. 26 On the following day, Thanksgiving, “Elin learned some of the Enquirer’s specifics about the purported affair, including a recent rendezvous in Australia. “Tiger and Elin got into a fight, and so Tiger ended the confrontation” by taking Ambien to fall asleep!

Nov. 27 1 a.m. That’s when Elin reportedly “looked through his cellphone … [and] found text messages” to Rachel, who was stored in Tiger’s phone under her real name. One said, “You are the only one I’ve loved.”

Then Elin started texting Rachel, “pretending to be Tiger!” according to the report. She wrote, “I miss you,” and asked, “When are we seeing each other again?”

Uchitel texted back, so Elin called her to say, “I knew it was you!” Rachel could only reply “Oh f–k,” before hanging up.

The Daily Beast says, “Elin … became enraged and woke Tiger by screaming at him … Tiger had apparently, shortly after waking up, sent another short text to Uchitel warning that Elin had uncovered the affair, that he was about to pack, and that a divorce might be imminent.

Nov. 27 2:25 a.m. Elin … exploded, trying to hit him on the chest and arms with her fists, and then finally chasing him from the house while she wielded a golf club. Shoeless, he ran into the car and barreled out of the driveway before careening off a fire hydrant and then smashing into a tree.”

Mary J. Blige Punched Husband @ Party

Mary J. Blige punched husband Kendu Isaacs in the face at her record release party at club M2 Tuesday night.

The singer slugged Isaacs, drawing blood, after she thought he was flirting with a waitress.

"She turned to him and was screaming, 'You're not going to ruin my night,' " our witness says. "They got up in each other's faces before someone tried to separate them, at which point she shoved the guy aside, pulled back and popped [Isaacs] in the face."

The source said Blige, Isaacs and their entourage were whisked through a door to the attached club Pink, which was closed. Our witness relates, "She was yelling at him, 'What are you gonna do, Chris Brown me?' Four of her bodyguards and two of the club's kept them apart."

Isaacs was kicked out.

Blige went to the bathroom to fix her hair and makeup, but soon fled, creating an uncomfortable scene for partygoers Jay-Z, Beyoncé and Busta Rhymes.

Her rep said only, "People lie and don't know what they're talking about."

Tiger Woods is not the only one who blew big bucks with his image-busting cheating spree.

His losses are chump change compared with the up to $12 billion that the scandal has cost shareholders of his big-money sponsors like Nike, AT&T and Gatorade, a study revealed Monday.

"Total shareholder losses may exceed several decades' worth of Tiger Woods' personal endorsement income," said study author Victor Stango, a professor at the University of California Davis.

The study compared the stock prices of nine Woods sponsors with competitors and the overall market after the scandal erupted last month.

Investors in the three sports-related companies - video gamemaker Electronic Arts, Gatorade and Nike - fared the worst, experiencing a 4.3% drop in stock value.

On the other hand, Accenture, a global management consulting firm, experienced no measurable ill effects from Woods' fall from grace.

Tyra banks: Pulling plug on talk show!

Announcing the ending of 'The Tyra Show', the former model reveals that she is looking forward to the launching of her New York-based film production company.

Already having a successful TV show, Tyra Banks is looking forward to inspire women through movies. On Monday, December 28, the former Sports Illustrated model revealed her next project, the launch of New York-based film production company Bankable Studios, when announcing the end of her talk show "The Tyra Show".

On her new project, an industry insider told People that the 36-year-old is aiming to bring "positive images of women to the big screen", and will be "redefining beauty for women in film". The TV personality herself supported the statement in a message posted in her website, "My next huge steps will allow me to reach more women and young girls to help us all feel as fierce as we truly are."

The insider further revealed that Banks got the courage to stop her show after mentor Oprah Winfrey announced the end of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" earlier. "With Oprah's big announcement this year, I think that gave Tyra the confidence to get out there and follow her longtime dream of film producing," the source claimed.

Banks revealed she is pulling the plug on "The Tyra Show" through People. "This will be the last season of The Tyra Show," so she told People. "I've been loving having fun, coming into your living rooms, bedrooms, hair salons for the past 5 years." Her show will wrap at the end of its fifth season in spring 2010.

Banks also wrote a message showing her appreciation to fans for the show on her website. "There's a lot cooking right now and a lot of fire burning in my heart," part of her message read. "And I salute you my amazing family of viewers; without you there never would have been a 'Tyra Show.' I really love you all."

Ending her talk show doesn't mean Tyra Banks will stop appearing on small screen. She will be returning for the 14th season of "America's Next Top Model" in February 2010. Her show "True Beauty" will also continue its production.
